Supplement containing concentrated iodine. In marine aquariums iodine is crucial for general cell functioning and the transfer of nutrients between them. Iodine is constantly consumed by tank inhabitants, therefore, without supplementation its level drops quickly.

Iodine is used by corals for synthesising pigments which allow them to adapt to variable lighting conditions and protect the fragile coral tissues from UV radiation. Iodine intensifies dark blue and purple colouration of hard corals. Appropriate iodine content in seawater tank supports shrimp molting. Regular dosage of Iodum keeps iodine content at the same level as in natural seawater.

Dosage

10 ml of the product increases the iodine level by 0.1 mg/l (ppm) in 100 litres (27 US gal) of water. Recommended level: 0.055 – 0.07 mg/l (ppm). Please remember, that maximum safe daily dose is 2 ml per 100 litres of water. If you need a higher dose, split it into a few days. Recommended dosage: 1 ml/100 l (27 US gal) of water daily

The orders cannot be shipped to PO boxes or military addresses. Rural domestic addresses require one or more additional days to deliver.

International Shipping:

International shipping charges are mentioned on our website.  Shipping charges and transit time will vary, depending on the location. All international packages are shipped via DHL / FedEx. All transit times are Monday to Saturday. International delivery cannot be guaranteed within a time frame due to customs. 
International delivery time is approximately 5 to 7 days.  For some shipments delivered outside the India, the importing country may charge an import duty/VAT on top of the price of the item. These charges are beyond our control and can’t be reimbursed.
International customers are responsible for any import or customs fees charged by your government. We are unable to predict which shipments will be assessed these fees or the amount of the fee that may be charged. In cases of refusal, either the cost of the goods or return service costs will be assessed.
